The data in the GEBA database are so far subject to change without notice (however versioning is part of the next development phase). It is therefore recommended to renew downloaded GEBA datasets every year or when you start a new project.

GEBA data are available to users for bona fide research purposes at no cost. GEBA data sets must not be passed to a third party and must not be used for commercial applications. Use of data must always be explicitly acknowledged in publications resulting and reprints must be forwarded to the GEBA to be included in the list of publications.

When acknowledging GEBA, the following statement should be made: "GEBA is co-funded by the Federal Office of Meteorology and Climatology MeteoSwiss within the framework of GCOS Switzerland."

Data Availability and Exchange

The GEBA data are available at no cost for bona fide research. New users register by filling in the registration form.
