- May 16 2023: Global radiation values for the station Locarno-Monti in Switzerland over 2011-2013 were corrected and the station Parg temporarily removed for country affiliation correction purposes.
- April 18 2023: The station names Valencia and Santa Cruz were made more explicit by adding the country name in parenthesis for these special cases of identical names appearing in several countries (Spain, Venezuela, El Salvador). A few global radiation values identified as erroneous were removed or when possible corrected for the stations Mildura Airport, De Aar (BSRN), Geraldton Airport and Zagreb-Horvath. Global radiation data for the stations Tunis-Carthago, Almeria, Antofagasta, Lauder-Niwa, Semipalatinsk, were removed for further correction purposes or merged because of redundancy.
- January 18 2023: Data release up to 2022 including radiation balance, direct radiation and longwave incoming radiation in addition to global and diffuse radiation. Global radiation values for the station Säntis in Switzerland over 1981-1986 (having a historical unit conversion issue) were corrected. For the latest status of available data, please check the relevant files under Data Retrieval > Metadata.
- September 13 2022: Start of the roll-out phase of GEBA's new infrastructure. New Database Access Interface link opened for all users and old one deactivated.
- September 2 2022: Slight changes on website in view of imminent switch to GEBA's new infrastructure. The link to the old Database Access Interface shall be deactivated most probably on Wednesday September 14 at the latest and the link to the new one opened for all users as a default. Please contact us for any question arising from this imminent switch or in case you need a longer access to the old infrastructure. The replacement shall then be definitive with the end of the year 2022.
- July 14 2022: Link to the new Database Access Interface opened for test users, together with the new Metadata, Quality and Format description. Please contact us in case you would also like to get access (in addition to your initial registration) and be willing to provide feedback.
- July 4 2022: Various changes on website in view of upcoming roll out of the new infrastructure. An additional Database Access link will soon be opened for test users under Data Retrieval > See overview, next to the current interface. The rest of the website will be reshaped in the next development phase (from 2023 on), in particular regarding Data Quality and versioning, as well as data source and user publication reference management.

- February 1 2022: GEBA's renewed infrastructure will be rolled out this year. You are welcome to provide us with feedback about your current experience while accessing and using data and metadata for consideration in GEBA's developments.
